TEHRAN – Managing director of National Iranian Oil Company noted that Chinese companies have handed in their major development plan for Yadavaran oil field and the plan is currently being studied at Petroleum Engineering and Development Company.
Expressing hope that final contract for developing Yadavaran oil field will be signed soon, Gholamhossein Nozari stated that National Iranian South Oil Company has not drawn up a major development plan thus far, but it has formulated a plan to produce oil from six wells of the field.
“Development of Yadavaran oil field is different from oil production from six exploration wells that are to be overhauled,” he noted.
The official further noted that oil companies headquartered in Tehran are to be transferred to other cities.
“NISOC and National Iranian Offshore Oil Company are solving problems before transfer to other parts of the country,” he said.
