Lavan
Island is situated 18 kilometers from Iranian coasts in Persian Gulf.
The area of the island is approximately 75.6 Square kilometers with
an approximate 25 kilometers length and maximum 5 kilometers width .
The oil exploration in this field commenced upon activities of LAPCO
in the Persian Gulf in 1967.
